Well - pretty much anything, within reason. Ultrasonics works on most any hard item, and will clean off most organic soils. Here's some common uses:
- clock parts
- fishing reels
- dentures
- metal parts
- coins
- engine parts
- glasses
- electric shaver heads
Pretty much anything that has a hard surface can be cleaned with ultrasonics. But there are limits. You can't remove paint, or shellac, or any coating that would normally need a solvent. You can remove burned on carbon. And sonics will not remove the tarnish from silver.
