Ultrasonic cleaners for industry, home, and hobby

Is this just for jewelry? What else can I clean?

Well - pretty much anything, within reason. Ultrasonics works on most any hard item, and will clean off most organic soils. Here's some common uses:

  • clock parts
  • fishing reels
  • dentures
  • metal parts
  • coins
  • engine parts
  • glasses
  • electric shaver heads
Pretty much anything that has a hard surface can be cleaned with ultrasonics. But there are limits. You can't remove paint, or shellac, or any coating that would normally need a solvent. You can remove burned on carbon. And sonics will not remove the tarnish from silver.
