Branson OC Optical Cleaner

I've been looking into the possibility of cleaning theatrical fixture lens assemblies with an ultrasonic cleaner. Over time, the lenses get a haze on them from heat and the impurities in the air around them. Kind of like the haze that develops on the inside of your car's windshield. Currently, we have to disassemble the lens assembly in order to clean the glass lenses. I'm wondering if your OC cleaner in an ultrasonic cleaner might be the ideal solution to cleaning our lens assemblies. The lens assembly is not sealed -- there is sufficient room around the lens for the cleaning solution to get in, do its job and drain away. Ideally, I'd like to find a no-touch solution -- one that will dry without haze or spots and will not need to be manually dried or buffed. If you think this might do the trick, would it be possible to get a sample of the cleaner?

The quick answer is it might work. I don't know the exact geometry of your lens assembly. I do know your first step - try it with plain distilled water in an ultrasonic tank. If you don't use a chemical, you don't have chemical residue! You'll also want the water really hot - like 160f
