What do I put in my jewelry cleaner?

Tthey are liquids and powders that you mix with water to get a professional quality cleaning solution. If you want to try something home-made, that is fine, too. Some people like to use a little ammonia or dishwashing liquid mixed with water. The thing to remember is that if you want free-rinsing solution that does not leave any residue, and REALLY clean jewlery, you pretty much have to use a real jewelry cleaning solution.

Of the items below, the one that lasts the longest is the Gemoro cleaning solution. One quart bottle makes abotu 40 gallons (!) of mixed cleaner. Pretty much a lifetime supply for most of us.

The one that is easiect to store and use is the Cleanosonic Powder. It also costs less to ship, and makes for a more compact package in a gift box.
